Bible Studies: |
The Stringtown Christian Church offers many opportunities for Bible Study. Beginning at 10:00 AM, we offer Bible classes for each age from youth through adult. These classes are topical in nature and encourage open discussion from participants. Classes include: |
- Adult class for "older" Christian adults & couples.
- Adult class for "younger" Christian adults & couples.
- Adult Bible class in "Basics of the Christian Faith".
- Youth classes for all grades & ages.

| Sunday morning classes cover a variety of topics. Our "upstairs" class for adults uses a Standard lesson format, one of the adult classes in the basement uses a topical Bible study approach, and the class that Bro. Chip teaches uses a topical approach as well, employing materials that he has written. Chip's current class topic is "The Sermon on the Mount ", and covers the following: |
- Historic & background information about the teaching of Jesus.
- Verse by verse discussion of the Sermon on the mount.
- Personal, relevant application of the teachings of Christ.
- Challenges to take the message out to others.

| Format for the class allows students to participate at any level, asking questions and providing a non-threatening discussion atmosphere. Class materials are provided to assist each student in additional in-home study and preparation if desired. |
| Sunday evenings offers sermon topics of significant interest to the serious bible student. Currently, Bro. Chip is providing biblical answers to some of the tough questions people ask about the bible, salvation issues, leadership and much more. Each session includes a large, tri-fold document for note taking during the sermon. A 'completed' version of each handout is also available upon request, and, many participants have found these to be helpful in personal Bible study & evangelism. Youth groups meet during the Sunday evening service. |
