You will draw a name from among those who choose to participate.  Participation is completely voluntary.  Please do not feel obligated.  If you draw the name of a family member, you are encouraged to return the name to the hat and draw again.

Report the name of the person you drew to the designated Secret Sister Coordinator.  She will keep the list and keep copies of everyone’s information sheet in case you lose the sheet for the lady you drew.

You should remember your Secret Sister at least once per month with notes, cards and such.  These “remembrances should not be purchased gifts (except for cards).  Click here for a list of gift ideas for your secret sister.

You may remember your Secret Sister with purchased gifts NO MORE that 3 times per year.  One of those times should be the Secret Sister revealing party which is planned for next February.  It’s up to you when you do the other two. This purchased gift should cost NO MORE than $5.00.  It is very important that everyone commit to sticking to this limit.

If for any reason you cannot continue with the program, please contact the Secret Sister coordinator so she can assign your partner to someone else.

There will be a designated location in the church for dropping gifts, cards, etc.  It is up to you to be secretive about getting your items there.

Remember the purpose for Secret Sisters is ministry.  Please remember to be edifying.  Think before you complain or say something unkind about the person who may have forgotten your birthday or hasn’t dropped you a card in a while.  This is about building each other up.
